For some reason I neglect to update this... I went to Washington D.C. for another yearbook convention (I know, D.C.?!) and after an adventure of hopping subways and getting rained on (THE EAST COAST IS COLD), I went forth to enter in Photoshop Art. This time, I entered with my theme page artwork (originally it was supposed to be the cover, but by the time people liked it it was already too late and I was too lazy to create a new theme page 8D, that and we had to students vote and they wanted a sthuper colorful one again). This time the competition turn out was good - a lot of the students who entered this time we've very talented in Photoshop, and I saw some awesome entries. Funny thing, I had a freshman come with me since she had no contest, and she wanted to see how the carry-ins worked... so it was funny watching her comment and observe the others.

Anyways, when the awards ceremony went into motion, the judges comments for Photoshop Art went along the lines of "All entries showed superb skill in Photoshop Art and were all aesthetically pleasing. However, the Superior showed depth in their concept and allowed elements to flow"... and surprise, I was the only Superior in Photoshop Art again. Thus, I have defended my title in both the West and East Coast.

Not bad for 2 wins in a row. You know, if there was ever an intelligent saying that said to me, it was that, "Now this time you can't feel bad about winning since you came up with the idea." He's right though. And it feels good.
